From my late teens I have always dreamt of owning my own hairdressing salon and here I am living the dream! I set up BOLTS hair and body in Axminster in 2005. My career in hairdressing has spanned 30 years which started in barbering and then progressed to an intensive training programme with Toni & Guy. I have passed on my knowledge and all I have learnt to my fantastic team, which I feel really lucky to have on board.

I have been a hairdresser for 40 years. I have experience in all aspects of hairdressing, colouring, cutting, perming  and also cut mens hair too. I had a hairdressing salon in Torquay for 35 years and when Covid came along I decided to relocate to East Devon and now operate from Bolts @ 57 in Otterton. I was a perm technician for 5 years and hold a Master Craftsman Certificate. I have invested a lot of time in education and am fiercely passionate about my craft. I am friendly and approachable, and will give my honest advice during our consultation. In my spare time I am a keen equestrian. I spend early mornings and my afternoons with my horse and black labrador.

I have been hairdressing for over 40 years now, working in the uk and abroad. I sold my hair and beauty business in 2022 after 23 years and brought a motorhome to travel around the UK to find my forever home in Axminster. I’m experienced in all aspects of hairdressing and a great listener, so come in and have a chat about what you want to achieve regarding your hair. I’m excited to be part of the Bolts team in Axminster and my aim is to insure everyone leaves with a smile.

I’m a Junior Stylist at our beautiful Otterton salon, Bolts @ 57. I’ve spent my first year in the industry diving deep into colour theory, and I’ve discovered my true calling: precision toning. I believe the secret to 'expensive-looking' hair is the custom glaze that follows the lift. Whether you're after a soft root shadow or a perfect pearlescent blonde, I specialise in the subtle tonal shifts that make your colour pop. Come and visit me in Otterton for a fresh, multi-dimensional glow. In my spare time I enjoy taking my son to beautiful places and of course soft play!

I’ve been apart of the Bolts Axminster team since December 2022, I became a qualified stylist in November 2025 and I’m now a Junior Stylist. I’m bubbly, energetic and love bringing positive energy to the salon. I’m passionate about all aspects of hair but my passion is occasional up-do’s. The reason why I love my job is watching the smile on clients faces - it truly makes my day. Hope to see you in my chair soon. In my spare time I like exploring the Devon coastline and spending time with loved ones.
